Description
The weather during Spring and Summer 2020 was incredibly warm and sunny at the Belgian coast. This painting (40 x 30 cm/ 15.7 x 11.8 in.) captures a moment between rainstorms when the sky was intense with both dark blue storm clouds and the fluffy white clouds of better weather. The light blue sky peaks through in the top righthand corner – a sign that, just earlier, the day was bright. I was struck by the intensity of the sky against the peaceful dunes below.
