“De Haan Large Forest”, acrylic on canvas, 60 x 60 cm/23.6 x 23.6 in., 2020, is part of my Forest Series. During my daily walks, I was inspired by the light shining through the forest trees and the contrast of its dancing shapes and shadows along the winding paths. I wanted to capture the brilliance of the light and the shape of the twisting tree trunks that lent magic and hope to these afternoon experiences.

This painting is outfitted with a thin metal wire held in place with two eyehook screws, making for easy hanging. A certificate of authenticity (COA) is included with the purchase of this painting.
